Come in. Have a look. We’re trying something out.

For people who notice things.

In case you were wondering, this site is for people who want to help build a human-scale textile ecosystem bridging craft, design and contemporary markets

This is a working space. You don’t need to know everything to be here.
We are working at building an ecosystem — not a factory, but a constellation of components that share resources, align skills and create real-world viability.

Making is a form of thinking, especially when people and technology work together.

We’re working from South Africa — a place shaped by persistence, adaptation and creative problem-solving, which feels like a good place to imagine the future from.

At a process level, we work at a scale between studio practice and factory production.   We are interested in building something small that is replicable.  So doing a small thing really well is important to us.  That is why we would really love people to give us feedback.

Small improvements will ultimately make a big difference to the way we go forward  – and we need to be open to moving beyond our current limitations.
